C3 ANIME FESTIVAL ASIA SINGAPORE 2018 – I Love Anisong Concert!

Celebrating 10th anniversary of Anime Festival in Singapore!
This year marks an important milestone for C3 Anime Festival Asia Singapore. And importantly, C3AFASG is going big!! featuring fresh acts and returning favourites artistes and many more stellar contents!

It’s that time of the year again, where we head to C3AFASG2018 for its annual highlight event – the I Love Anisong Concert!

The star-studded line-up for the first day of the C3AFASG 2018 I Love Anisong Concert is sure to incite plenty of excitement and nostalgia!

Performing in Singapore for the first time are Tielle&Gemie from SawanoHiroyuki[nZk], SPYAIR, Erii Yamazaki, and YURiKA on Friday.
TrySail, EARPHONES, KISIDAKYODAN AND THE AKEBOSIROCKETS and Real Akiba Boyz as the opening act will also be performing for the very first time at I Love Anisong on Saturday.

With established names making a triumphant return to the ILA stage are Shiena Nishizawa on Friday, Suzuko Mimori on Saturday, and angela, GARNiDELiA, May’n, and nano during C3AFASG 10th Anniversary Night on Sunday!

This year’s concert will definitely open with a bang!

Erii Yamazaki

In 2011, Erii emerged as a finalist in the 36th HoriPro Talent Scout Caravan, an audition for the next generation of voice actors and was scouted.

In 2013, Erii made her voice acting debut as Moe Morita in “Samurai Flamenco”. Since then, Erii has appeared in various TV anime, games, drama CDs and so on, with her popularity and recognition ever increasing.

Erii together with Ibuki Kido made their duo debut as a unit called every♥ing! under King Records. However, the duo unit has been disbanded on November 26, 2017.

After graduating high school, in November 2016, her solo debut album “Zenbu, Kimi no Sei da” was released under ZERO-A and Nippon Columbia.

In February 2018, Erii held her second ever solo concert at the Ex Theatre in Roppongi.

Erii will be releasing her 2nd album “Yoake no Cinderella” on 21st November!

Shiena Nishizawa

In 2014, Shiena was a 3rd year Saitama senior high school girl when she won the first annual FlyingDog Audition.
Shiena reveals that she fell in love with music in middle school when she first played the old guitar that her father used before in junior high school.
That interest expanded from not just guitar but also likes to make songs freely. Shiena was 17 when she debuted her first single “Fubuki”, singing the ending song for the television anime “Fleet Girls Collection (KanColle)”.

Shiena also sang a few notable songs such as “Brand-new World”, the theme song for the television anime “The Asterisk War”; “Piacere”, which was the theme song for the anime “ARIA The AVVENIRE”; “The Asterisk War”, theme song for the television anime’s second season; and her greatest hit: “Kikan”, which was the theme song for “KanColle:The Movie”
Shiena has over 13 million views on her Youtube channel!

On March 15th, 2017, Shiena released her first full-length album, entitled “Break Your Fate”. This album features a rock sound that showcases Shiena’s evolving talents and shows that she is leading Japan’s next generation of talented artists.

SPYAIR

SPYAIR is a Japanese rock band formed in 2005, and hailing from Aichi Prefecture, Nagoya.
The members are:
IKE (Vocal)
KENTA (Drum)
Momiken (Bass)
UZ (Guitar / Programming)
☆ Enzel (DJ) (ex-member)
Holding the simple, pure feeling of “Going to the people that do not know of us, rather than waiting for fans at a live house”, SPYAIR started their indies days performing on the streets of Nagoya in 2006. In August of 2010, made their major label debut with “LIAR”, under Sony Music.
SPYAIR held their first solo outdoor live at Hibiya Open Air concert hall in 2011 and peaked on Nippon Budoukan in 2012.

In 2017, 15,000 fans attended their solo outdoor live concert at Fuji-Q Highland.

SPYAIR have released 22 singles and 5 albums, with every release ranking in within Japan top 10. Currently, they are in midst of having a LIVE tour performing in over 20 countries.

SPYAIR sang the theme songs of multiple popular anime such as Gintama, BLEACH, and Haikyuu!.

Tielle&Gemie from SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]

Originally a project by the creator Hiroyuki Sawano, mainly centred music to catering dramas, anime and movies. The album “2V-ALK” was released on 20th September 2017 and ranked 3rd place in the Oricon Weekly Album charts. Recently, released the single “Binary Star / Cage” on 25th April for the TV anime “Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These” and the presentation that accompanies the life-sized Gundam Unicorn in Odaiba, Tokyo.

Hiroyuki Sawano has produced the soundtrack for various hit anime, such as “Mobile Suit GUNDAM UC”, “Attack on Titan”, “Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress”, “Kill la Kill”, “Blue Exorcist”, “Sengoku Basara”, “Guilty Crown”, “Aldnoah Zero”

YURiKA

YURiKA born on October 29, and hails from Hasuda, Saitama Prefecture.
YURiKA grew up exposing to music and learnt piano at a young age of 4.
When YURiKA was in the final year of her elementary school, she resonated about anisong that was filling with the abundance of emotional strong messages, and that was the time she decided to pursue to be an anisong artiste.
In middle and high school days, YURiKA trained her vocals in the chorus club and took part in Anison Grand Prix during her final high school year.
YURiKA juggled between her school and her live singing activities, and attained 6th place in Nippon TV’s Kashou-Ou competition in 2014.
YURiKA won NHK’s first ever “Anisong no Nodo Jima G” in the same year. Followed by NHK’s “Nodo Jima” competition held in Sakado city during 2016.
YURiKA passed the first TOHO animation RECORDs next generation artiste audition in 2016, and then signed to the TOHO Entertainment.
YURiKA performed the opening theme song “Shiny Ray” of the TV Anime “Little Witch Academia”, and released her major debut on 22 February 2017.
YURiKA also sang Summer Pockets’ OST “Yasuoka”, and declared as a hardcore fan of Key.
With an unwavering gaze and a voice that reaches everywhere, YURiKA is a new star in the Anisong world.

EARPHONES

An idol group unit consists of 3 voice actresses (Marika Kouno, Rie Takahashi and Yuki Nagaku) formed out of a TV anime “Sorega Seiyu!”
EARPHONES made her debut on 18 June 2015 with the single called “Mimi no Naka e” and alongside the TV anime “Seiyu’s Life!”.
Currently, EARPHONES have had 3 solo live performances, a 2 man live together with Aice, and appeared at Animelo Summer Live.
EARPHONEs have collaborated with various artistes such as Kenji Ohtsuki, Yoko Ishida, ROLLY, and Akira Kushida.

On 14 March, 2018, their much awaited 2nd album, Some Dreams, was released, and their first tour covering Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka was a huge success. As voice actresses, EARPHONES brings lots of originality to their music with their voice, aiming to progress even further! Even today, they plan to be plugged into the earphone jack in your ears!!

KISIDAKYODAN AND THE AKEBOSIROCKETS

Formed in 2007 when Kisida, who then was arranging music for “Toho Project”, needed enthusiasts to join him for a live event.
What was thought to be a one-time-only formation has remained firm till today, and currently welcoming their 11th year in 2018.

In 2010, they made their major debut, singing the theme song of the TV anime, HIGHSCHOOL OF THE DEAD. Ever since have been constantly releasing tie-up singles that serve as the theme song for various TV anime and have already released 3 original albums.

They are also known for singing theme songs for TV anime Gate: Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri and Strike the Blood.

They are also very active in performing live, with a 7-show nationwide tour in 2016, ending with a great success, with a final show at the Hibiya Open Air Concert Hall.

They have also participated in large festivals like ANIMAX MUSIX 2016 YOKOHAMA, as well as LisAni! LIVE 2017 that was held earlier in January 2017.

In the summer of 2017, they have a live tour of the 3 big Japanese cities of Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka. The next winter, they held their “10th Anniversary Tour”, beginning in Fukouka.

Opening Act: Real Akiba Boyz

The group was formed in 2007, with 5 members who were extremely passionate enthusiasts towards anime, voice actors, and figurines.
They instantly gained a huge popularity upon releasing a dance video of themselves dancing to Hare Hare Yuka.

They have been active as a group and garners more than 1,000,000 views on one of their videos. Their total view count of all the videos they have released would add up to more than 50,000,000 views!

They have also been participating in numerous events such as Niconico Chou Kaigi 2017, NikuFes Tokyo 2017, Japan Expo Thailand 2017. They are a unique dance performer unit, with charisma and popularity not only on the internet but also in real life.

TrySail

TrySail is a unit made up of popular voice actresses, Momo Asakura, Sora Amamiya and Shiina Natsukawa.

The origin of the name “TrySail” is named after a geometric triangular object. “TrySail” refers to a sail triangular in shape that is to be hoisted up when winds are strong. The three members allude to the three sides and like the tips of a triangle.
TrySail released their debut single in May 2015. Currently, they have
released 8 singles and 2 albums.
TrySail embarked on their first nationwide tour in November 2016, and achieved great success in their first arena live concert in the summer of 2017.
Earlier in February, TrySail held their second hall tour, covering 13 sold-out performances in 9 Japanese cities.
TrySail is one the most prominent group to watch out for in the anime and voice acting industry.

Suzuko Mimori

Suzuko Mimori has voiced many prominent roles as a voice actress for TV Anime, including “Tantei Opera Milky Holmes” “Love Live!”, “Yuki Yuna is a Hero” and “Revue Starlight” amongst others.
Mimoridebuted as a solo artiste in April 2013 with her single, “Aitai yo… Aitai yo!”, and celebrated her 5th anniversary in 2018.
On 27 June 2018, her 4th solo album ‘tone.’ was released. With ‘tone’ (tint) being the central theme, various ‘tones’ (music) was presented, helped the presence of a luxurious lineup of music creators.
On 4 August the same year, and then on 12 August, she held to great success, “MIMORI SUZUKO 5thAnniversary LIVE 「five tones」” at the Grand Cube Osaka and Pacifico Yokohama respectively.
Coming up, she will be releasing a concept mini album “holiday mode” on 20 February 2019.

A unit formed between atsuko (vocalist) and KATSU (guitarist/arrangement).
angela made their debut with the song called “Asu he no brilliant road”, the opening theme to the TV anime “Stellvia of the Universe”.
angela have been singing the theme songs for various popular anime,
such as “Fafner in the Azure”, “K”, “Knights of Sidonia”.

angela have captured the attention of fans with powerful and strong vocals, as well as stage presence. Furthermore, they have a lot of experience performing overseas, receiving a large amount of support from among anisong fans worldwide. In May 2018, they celebrate their 15th anniversary of the group.

GARNiDELiA

GARNiDELiA is music unit composed of MARiA (vocalist) and toku (music composer). 
GARNiDELiA made their debut in March 2014, with the release of ‘ambiguous’ the second opening theme song to the TV anime ‘Kill la Kill’, which reached the top of various music distribution channels, beginning with the iTunes Music Store.
Currently, they have released 9 physical singles, 2 digital-only singles and 4 albums.
Currently, they are on their nationwide tour “stellacage Tour 2018 ‘glow’”, including a performance at Zepp DiverCity.
On 25 September 2018, they will be releasing their newest album “Kyouki Ranbu”, filled with music from their popular ‘Odocchattemita’ series of dance videos.
The diverse range of GARNiDELiA’s music, coupled with MARiA’s overwhelming performing power, covering the performance of ballads to complex dances, are widely talked about.

May’n

Although the name “May’n” was derived from her real name, its meaning is really more about her heart’s desire to sing songs that can become everybody’s main theme. With that goal, she has continued mesmerising audiences from around the world.

May’n made her major label debut in 2005, at the young age of 15, after emerging as a finalist in HoriPro’s Talent Scout Caravan audition in 2003. Her music spans a wide variety of genres, including pop, rock, dance, and R&B.

A veteran in the Anisong industry, she has contributed numerous pieces to various anime series – notably “Diamond Crevasse” for Macross Frontier, “Scarlet Ballet” for Hidan no Aria, “Chase the world” for Accel World and more recently, “Belief” for Taboo Tattoo.

With countless live tours in Japan and successful overseas tours, May’n is definitely one hell of a performer! Her first acoustic tour was held in May 2013, whereas her largest tour yet started on February 2014 – she had over 80 performances across 47 prefectures in Japan as well as venues overseas (14 cities across the US, France, Germany, South Korea, China, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia)!!

In 2015, May’n celebrated her 10th anniversary by holding a special 10th anniversary live at the prestigious and famous Budokan – her fourth. Simultaneously, she also released her first best album, Powers of Voice, which peaked at No.6 on the Oricon charts!

May’n made her international debut here in Singapore at AFAX and found herself in a unique position – being the only artiste to perform in each and every single AFA since 2008! nano

Nano is a bilingual singer who started out an illustrious career by posting English covers of Japanese music on video sites such as Youtube and Nico Nico Douga. Having been born in the USA, Nano often westernized the covers without losing the original style. Nano is often portrayed with red mid-length hair and sometimes, a mask in the videos.

Nano debuted in March 2012 with the album ‘Nanoir’. Continuing on the success of the first album, Nano began composing and recording original theme songs for various anime such as Aoki Haganeno Arpeggio, Btooom! and Mahou Sensou.

In 2015, Nano released another studio album, the 3rd one, ‘Rock On’, as well as the single ‘Bull’s Eye’ – the opening theme song for the TV anime series, Hidan no Aria AA.

nano’s YouTube original contents have gained a total of over
100,000,000 views. The singer has proved an unlimited popularity, with a voice that has no limits!.
